Fund raising Rizla Suzuki finds new home

THE GSX-R1000 which was placed on eBay in order to raise funds for the 521 youth project courtesy of Rizla Suzukis technology partner Blue Chip and in conjunction with Connexions BDP has been won by Jake Workman from Cornwall.

Jake, who is a Site Manager, has been a race fan for many years and was thrilled to pick up the GSX-R1000 race replica for the bargain price of 7,200 when it usually retails at 9,949.00. The substantial amount of money raised will go direct to the 521 Youth Project which is a voluntary group dedicated to improving social and educational support for young people aged between five and 21.

The money raised in this auction will be put towards a once in a lifetime trip to Tanzania for seven of the young people, where they will learn valuable life skills and have the opportunity to work with children less fortunate than themselves.

Im a big Rizla Suzuki fan and Ive been a race fan for a good 15 years now, said Jake. When I saw the GSX-R1000 on eBay I thought I have to have that. I didnt know until Sunday that I had actually won it. Im over the moon as it really is a cracking bike. I cant wait to get it on the road.
